Formation of Psychological Readiness of Young Men of Pre-conscription Age for Military Service in the Context of an Educational Organization

The relevance of searching for ways to form psychological readiness for military service in young men is substantiated. Based on the analysis of basic concepts (“readiness”, “readiness for activity”, “psychological readiness”, “psychological readiness for activity”), as well as defi nitions of the phenomenon of “psychological readiness for military service”, its author’s defi nition is presented as a complex integrative mental formation, including certain personal characteristics that allow at any time to eff ectively perform the tasks of military-educational, military-service and combat activities in the context of military service. A set of organizational-pedagogical and psychological-pedagogical conditions for the eff ectiveness of work on the formation of psychological readiness for military service is identifi ed. It is concluded that the results of the theoretical stage of the study can be used as the basis for the system.
