The article examines the issues covering the organization of interaction with secondary vocational educational organizations to develop a safety culture among eighth-grade students in extracurricular activities on the basics of life safety. A brief theoretical information on the development of a students' safety culture is given. The experience of organizing a course of extracurricular activities “For the greater good” by a teacher of health and safety training course in cooperation with teachers and students of St. Petersburg state educational institution “Secondary Medical School № 2” is described. The analysis of empirical investigation to determine directions for the implementation of the extracurricular activities course on the development of a safety culture of students is presented. The results of a participant survey in the experimental course of extracurricular activities “For the greater good” are outlined. Responses were analyzed to confirm students' interest in participating in a course of extracurricular activities, implemented jointly with representatives of SVE (secondary vocational education).
