The subject of the article: information competence of a philologist student. The article: formation of information competence of a student philologist. Purpose of work: to identify the conditions for the formation of information competence in a student-philologist. Methodology of work: the article discusses the scientific and methodological approaches to the study of philological students verbal macrosystems. The modern vocational training of philology students is analyzed, the conditions for the formation of the information competence of a philologist student in the study of verbal macrosystems are investigated. Result of work: interactive interaction is determined by the condition for the formation of information competence in a philologist student. The scope of the results: higher education system, system of vocational training of a student-philologist. Conclusion. Interactive interaction allows to focus the attention of a student-philologist on the complexity and diversity of verbal macrosystems, on the one hand, and on the other hand, dialogue interaction allows dialogue participants to become equal subjects of activity that meets the idea of humanizing higher education.
