The study reveals the concept, goals, objectives, and performance of career guidance in school. The authors propose methods and techniques for macro- and micro-awareness of students about occupations and employment functions. Career guidance is a system of science-based measures to assist a person in searching for a professional identity/building a career strategy. Career guidance in school is to help students understand the main characteristics of professional activity and learn to analyze occupations comparing them with each other. Before choosing a career, everyone should have sufficient knowledge about his identity and professional strengths, the qualities to be compensated for or overcome. The professional identity and self-determination are available if the students’ evaluation criteria for understanding that their physical, psychophysical characteristics and moral standing meet job requirements are developed.
