The article proves the importance of studying motivation stability of students at a pedagogical university throughout the whole course of training. Theoretical bases of formation, criteria and indicators of professional-pedagogical orientation stability are considered. A model of a pedagogical system focused on providing support for stability of professional orientation is given.
