Phraseological expressions in the works of English writers (by the example of H. Dickens)

This article deals with phraseology as a linguistic science and classifies phraseological units in modern English. The illustrative material of the research work is the novel "Posthumous Notes of the Pickwick Club" by C. Dickens. A special place in the article is taken by the fact that the author breaks down the author's phraseological units into their types and tells about their unusual use in the work.
