Fundamentalization as a phenomenon of present-day education

Methodological problems of fundamentalization of modem university education are discussed. The balance of fundamental and technological knowledge, interrelation of fundamentalization and a professional — pedagogical orientation in training of future teachers in pedagogical high school are considered.
