The article is a synthesis of the author’s main conceptual conclusions obtained and made public during the study of religious fundamentalism, religious modernism and religious tradition, which allowed us to reach an updated representative model of religious reformism of the modern era in the form of a unifying paradigm “fundamentalism - tradition - modernism”. It reflects the structural and functional features and dynamics of religious reformation of Modern and Post-Modern times, the complex of which is formed / set by the opposite poles of religious culture, but not in the format of binary oppositions “fundamentalism - modernism”, “tradition - modernism”, “tradition - fundamentalism”, but in the form of peripheral formations and their modifications arising from interaction through tradition / by means of the tradition of selected elements of religious fundamentalism and religious modernism. As a result, the representative model “fundamentalism - tradition - modernism” presented in the article significantly updates the existing theoretical and methodological basis and tools for studying the diversity of forms of religious reformation of the modern era. It allows us to see the particular, but not to the detriment of the general, to avoid the extremes of immanentism and dangerous tendencies of universalism.
