The functions of fragmentariness in J.-P. Sartre's War diaries

The article is dedicated to the specific functions of fragmentariness in J.-P. Sartre's war diaries. We consider this feature in the context of the philosophical base which determine its functioning in the diaries, paying attention to the different types of fragments. This analysis leads the authors to the conclusion of a particular role of fragmentariness in Sartre's existential self-reflection.
