Functions of derivational affixes in the formation of meaning in denominal verbs

The article considers special features of the meaning of derivational affixes using texts of modern mass media as a source of material. It also explains the role of word formative suffixes and prefixes. The author defines the influence of the suffix in the formation of verbal meaning. In addition, the researcher characterizes the conditions when the meaning of the prefix fulfils a different role in the formation of the verbal semantics.
