Functioning of Russian tenses in expressing perception category

The article is devoted to the exploration of Russian tenses in utterances with conjunctions introducing the perceived situation. When the perception situation and perceived situation are represented by different tenses, the following correlations are possible: present-present 16-18%; present-future 10%, past imperfective-present 68%, with the dominance of the latter.
