In this paper we investigated gender-sensitive indicators of blood coagulation, lipid and carbohydrate metabolism in patients with metabolic syndrome and isolated abdominal obesity. The changes of plasma and fibrinolytic hemostasis in the metabolic syndrome in patients of both sexes are founded. In women with the metabolic syndrome defined compensatory activation of the anticoagulant system. Changes in glucose and lipid metabolism in metabolic syndrome are characterized by hyperglycemia and dyslipidemia. Significant changes of hemostasis, carbohydrate and lipid metabolism in patients of both sexes with isolated abdominal obesity were not found.
