The article presents a comparative analysis of indicators of motivational activity, resilience, volitional self-control, emotional intelligence in 68 police officers (20 men and 48 women) having psychological education. It is established that the indicators of motivational activity of the focus group are above average, emotional intelligence indicators are high when there are no gender disparities, resilience indicators are above average for men and average for women, the differences are valid. Regardless of gender, the achievement motivation scale is correlated with perseverance (volitional self-control test data) and the parameters of emotional intelligence, including awareness, emotion management, and self-motivation. The role of motivational activity is reflected in the resilience of men only. It is mostly demonstrated in control scale showing four of the five indicators and in risk and involvement scales displaying two indicators. Self-motivation as a part of men’s emotional intelligence test is significantly correlated with every scale of volitional self-control and resilience, while women’s emotional intelligence test is connected only with such resilient indicators as involvement and risk.
