Geographical indications as a factor of socio- ecological-economic development of agrarian regions

The article discusses the concept of such an object of intellectual property as geographical indications. The characteristic features of the products are listed with a geographical indication. The article shows the implementation of goods with GI of three inextricably linked components of sustainable development - economic, environmental and social. Economic sustainability is manifested in an increase in the incomes and quality of life of producers, environmental - the rational use of resources and the preservation of biological diversity, social - the maintenance of culture and traditions.
