The article presents the results of the analysis of the theory and practice of education in the context of digitalization. Based on the study of the results of the study of the online education market, it is concluded that online education in the segment of additional, professional education has become absolutely equivalent to offline education; its popularity among young groups of the population will soon lead to the complete displacement of offline programs in this group; The popularity of online courses for a group of specialties in the field of education confirms the need to spread the scope and quality of the use of digital tools in the pedagogical university. This requires the search and dissemination of new models of organization of educational work. As such a model, the author considers the advantages of hybrid learning. As the best practices of universities show, this model requires new technical, methodological support, adaptation to the conditions of the information and educational environment of the university, the regional education system, and the development of a regulatory framework for the implementation of this model. This model will allow you to combine the advantages of offline and online education, creates a basis for understanding the meanings - the main condition for quality education.
