The conclusion is made about the evolution of the content of the concept of «global competence», which was initially considered in the aspect of human capital development as a specific set of knowledge, skills and attitudes necessary for successful professional activity in the global economy, and then began to be studied in the context of solving global problems, ensuring sustainable development and supporting collective well-being, as a multidimensional value-a focused construct that includes the knowledge, skills, attitudes and values necessary to address current social, cultural, economic and environmental problems of global importance at the local level.
