“Woe from wit” in the poetry of Aleksandr Kushner

The article deals with the poems of the different years by Aleksandr Kushner, containing the motives of the comedy by A.S. Griboedov. There is demonstrated that the aphoristic nature, lyricism, every day and national motives and the complication of the characters make an appeal to the poet. The poems are analyzed not only in the context of the comedy’s text but also in the creative work of A.S. Kushner and in the sociohistorical context of the epoch. There is emphasized the reflection of the poet concerning the poetic technique of the comedy.
