The article analyzes the readiness of future teachers to form meta-subject learning outcomes using project-research activities. Historical and pedagogical analysis allowed the author to establish that the most prominent figures in higher pedagogical education were determined to prepare a teacher needed for the school, for the society aimed at achieving meta-subject learning outcomes. It is noted that research and project-research activities are the pedagogical technology that future teachers of all specialties master. At the Orenburg State Pedagogical University, much attention is paid to a practice-oriented approach aimed at preparing a graduate to solve pressing problems of modern school education, to form meta-subject skills in schoolchildren. Students master pedagogical technologies that allow them to organize research and project-research activities. Successful mastery is recorded, including in practice-oriented final qualification works, demonstrating the ability to form meta-subject skills in schoolchildren, to achieve meta-subject learning outcomes in the course of project-research activities, using innovative pedagogical technologies.
