Group project activity in mathematics classes at technical university

Currently, a wide range of pedagogical technologies has been developed to improve the quality of training of future specialists. Each of them has its own peculiarities in the mechanisms of achieving educational results, so it is important to assess the feasibility and establish the specifics of using a specific technology in the real conditions of the pedagogical process. The purpose of this work was to analyze the results of the use of group project activity technology in mathematics classes with engineering students. The results of the study show that the use of this technology allows students to increase interest in the study of the discipline and strengthen their theoretical training, as well as to work out computational skills and form the communicative competence of students. The limiting conditions for the use of group project activity technology will be: the complexity of preparing for classes in this form and the need for a certain level of training of students.
