Humanazing medical education by philological disciplines

The paper presents the basic points of the humanistic approach in education. The aim of this work was to determine key principles of the humanistic paradigm concerning philological education in the medical school. We summarized the experience of native and foreign researchers in pedagogy studying the humanization and humanitarization of education. The main principles of the humanistic approach to develop an efficient system of higher education have been described. The role of philological education in the medical school has been determined. The fundamental points of the humanistic approach to develop a model of philological education in the system of higher medical education have been described. They include recognition of absolute personal value of both teachers and students, freedom of choice in educational process, development of students’ emotional intelligence, democratization of teaching and learning, and development of motivation in students.
