Arts and crafts activities and the Paralympic movement: enculturation and socialization of paralympics athletes

The article shows the role and necessity of introducing of arts and crafts activities in enculturation and socialization of Paralympians. The author reveals resources of the “Sport and Creativity” festivals in a balanced development of a personality as a synthetic form of the arts and crafts activities, strengthening of relations between sports and arts, improvement of humanistic and spiritual relevance of the sports. The author also discusses overcoming of inhuman phenomena in the high-achievement sport and records, a problem of commercialization and technocracy in the contemporary Paralympic and Special Olympic movements.
