Game of transcendence and environment

Бесплатный доступ

The article deals with the theme of the game between metaphysical, traditional and philosophical reflection on existence and time, and the environment, where the environment is determined by the sphere of consumption of things. The basic, ontological aspects of the game, as defined by Johan Huizinga, are applied to later provisions of the philosophy of poststructuralism and analysed in social refraction. An analysis is made of the aesthetic category of the game and its conceptual foundations within the sphere of modern life - the consumption of goods. The ontological essence of the game in the sphere of consumption is substantiated. The basic conclusions are based on the analysis of Jean Bodriard’s work “System of Things” (1968) and are applied to the conceptual model of society development given by Herbert Marshall McLuhan in his work “Media Understanding: External Human Expansion” (1962).
