Play activity as a form of education of primary school children

Play is a necessary condition for the comprehensive development of children and the main means of diversity and emotional enrichment of upbringing and learning. The article presents the results of a theoretical review on the challenge of education and the place of game in it. The empirical part summarizes the results of studying the leading type of parental relationships in modern families where children of primary school age are brought up and presents an analysis of data on the peculiarities of the game activities in the educational process.
