The article studies the spatial meanings of nouns as the main lexical means of expression of this category in the Mongolic languages. Nouns with spatial meaning in the Mongolic languages form many lexical and semantic groups associated with the names of cardinal directions, types of the earth surface, landscape, political division, indoor premises, etc. We have considered the nouns denoting the types of surface, soil, landscape, relief, and natural zones. When analyzing the lexemes ‘earth’ and ‘steppe’, we have studied the terms denoting the types of hills in the Mongolic languages. The analysis of nouns with the spatial meaning has revealed similarities and differences in the studied vocabulary of the Mongolic languages, as well as the presence or absence of certain lexemes in a particular language
