mmunology and hematology, having become separate disciplines at a certain stage in the development of science and clinical practice, continue to be closely related, moving hand in hand as new scientific discoveries and new technologies emerge. It is difficult to overestimate the importance of the achievements of immunology in deciphering the pathogenesis, diagnosis and development of modern methods of therapy for diseases of the blood system. Immunological studies are important for determining the variants of leukemia and lymphomas and predicting the course of the disease. The linear affiliation and degree of differentiation of tumor cells, that is, their immunophenotypic features, have prognostic significance. The group of lymphoproliferative diseases with lymphadenopathy requires a mandatory immunohistochemical study of a lymph node biopsy to clarify the nosological form in accordance with the modern classification. Currently, it is impossible to imagine the treatment of many hematological diseases without the use of monoclonal antibodies. Technologies of checkpoint inhibitors and CAR-T therapy are being developed and introduced into clinical practice. All above mentioned is evidence of the inextricable connection between immunology and hematology, and connection serves as the basis for further improvement of methods for diagnosing and treating diseases of the blood system.
