One of the main factors for successful udder health care is the quick and consistent treatment of cows with subclinical mastitis. Early intervention increases the chances of recovery. Subclinical mastitis of cows, by definition, has no clear symptoms. Therefore, this pathology is often underestimated, which ultimately leads to a large number of cases of breast diseases and to economic damage in milk production. As an alternative therapy to antibiotics, the use of which is now considered more and more problematic, the modern pharmacology in many countries offers veterinary specialists to treat mastitis with the help of homeopathy. The immunological status of cows with subclinical mastitis was studied in the treatment with homeopathic medicine “Alvesol”.
