Preconditions and tendencies of applying benchmarketing technologies to training future vocational teachers

Research activity is an important component of the professional training of university students. Research activity includes social interaction of the subjects of this activity: students, scientific supervisors, specialists of the academic departments of educational organizations, experts, etc. To ensure interaction, as well as building up of students’ portfolios and a data bank of students’ scientific research, the information system «Bank of students’ research work» has been developed. The core of the information system is the description of students’ research work. The main functionality of the system is creating, editing and viewing information about scientific work; sorting, filtering and searching for work; communication with the authors, scientific leaders or the university administration; grade and analysis of students’ research work and creation of reports. The model represents the classes associated with the project database tables, the views implement web pages of the application, the controllers are the classes that implement all the logic of the application. The information system has the following modules: a catalog of students’ research projects, personal accounts of students and academic advisers, evaluation module and the administrative panel of the application. The project involves the accumulation of data on the students’ research activities, which must be analyzed to identify the most popular research areas among young scientists, as well as to determine the success of students’ projects. The calculation of the success of students’ work is based on the analysis of abstracts, articles and achievements (grants, prizes in various competitions) associated with the work, as well as it is based on the expert assessment. The introduction of a the bank of research work will allow: to implement the simplicity and transparency of tracking and assessing the students’ research activities, to organize the interaction of students engaged in research work in universities; to form a students’ portfolios, to accumulate a bank of projects for future students and their work, to analyze and form conclusions about students’ research work.
