Informational structure of the german complex sentence

The article deals with the informational structure of the complex sentences in the German academic papers of the railway theme from the perspective of the formal, pragmatic and cognitive criteria. There are considered the theme, fema and rhema, the interrelation of which is defined by the order of words, as the main components of the informational structure. There is revealed the significance of the closed-in construction in the complex sentence, there is analysed its content.
