The information society, in which the key resources in all spheres are information and knowledge, requires certain qualities of its participants. The constantly increasing and complex flows of information that every person faces daily require continuous processing. Graduates of educational organizations of higher and secondary education must be ready to adapt to the conditions of the information society. In this regard, the need arises to form and develop the personality traits that will contribute to adaptation and effective existence in the conditions of the modern stage of society development. Analysis of the personality qualities that a person needs to interact with all spheres of society (economic, political, social, spiritual) made it possible to combine them into an integral quality which is called social and information intelligence. The research aims to define the place of information-analytical skills in the structure of social-information intelligence. The construction of the model of social-information intelligence is based on a nuclear approach, which allowed to distinguish the core in its structure, representing stable qualities which formation will contribute to the development of two defensive belts. Two subsystems are identified in the core of social-information intelligence: information and social systems. The study showed that the students have low level of information-analytical skills. The structure of social-information intelligence indicates the need to develop a strategy for managing the development of social-information intelligence and to create a virtual educational space for its development.
