«Foreign cultural vocabulary of dance» and a special course of the same name: on the issue of updating methodological tools pedagogy of choreography arts in Chinese universities

The article examines the category of “foreign cultural vocabulary of dance” from the standpoint of philosophical, cultural, art history, and pedagogical discourses, justifying the need to develop and implement a special course of the same name in the process of training choreographers in modern universities in China. The authors focus on the contradictions that have arisen between the content of the educational programs of choreographic departments of creative universities in the country and the requirements imposed on modern choreographers from the social space where their further professional activities are carried out.
