Tools and technologies in data analysis of the tourist flow in the North Caucasus

This article presents an analysis of the tourist flow to the subjects of the North Caucasus Federal District over the past 4 years based on data from the official website of Rosstat using modern programming technologies and analysis tools. The importance of a comprehensive analysis of the tourist flow is due to the need to predict the future tourist flow in order to plan the budget of the subject, as well as identify effective marketing measures that increase this flow. To visualize the comparative analysis, the author's software product "Analysis of Tabular Data Using Pie Charts" is demonstrated in the Python programming language (version 3.12) using the pandas data analysis module and the matplotlib graphing and charting module. The effectiveness and convenience of visualizing this software product when analyzing tabular data lies in the fact that both the tabular data itself and the charts based on it are displayed on the form. An additional advantage is the user-friendly settings for chart images, such as the chart radius coefficient, chart rotation angle, and the distance of the labels from the center of the chart.
