Integration of the National Regional Component into the Content of Music Pedagogical Education

The study examines the problem of integrating the national-regional component into the musical training of students in pedagogical programs in a region that embodies a multinational musical culture. The aim of the study is to analyze the concept of the “regional-national component of music education”, the experience of integrating local components with the external sociocultural sphere during the professional training of future music teachers, and the pedagogical technologies for employing musical folklore in the educational space. The article presents an analysis of the notion “regional-national component of music education”, surveys practices of coupling local musical content with broader sociocultural contexts in teacher training, and reviews pedagogical technologies for the pedagogical use of musical folklore. Based on the conducted research, the article identifies the pedagogical conditions for a comprehensive approach to the formation of competencies of future music teachers in the field of national-professional and musical culture, as well as the forms and methods of introducing the national-regional component into the educational process during classroom and extracurricular activities. The presented material allows us to conclude that implementation of a comprehensive approach to integrating the national-regional com-ponent into music-pedagogical education promotes the formation of both general developmental and specialized competencies of future music teachers with respect to national musical culture.
