Integrational trends in mathematical education

The article contains the results of analysis of the state of the pedagogical theory and the practice of teaching mathematics. It is proved that it is nesessary to enhance geometry in the mathematical education at primary school. The basic concepts are given to reorganize the course for preparation to study geometry. It is argued that origami is an efective means in the context of the method proposed.
