An integrative approach to teaching physical education and life safety to future teachers based on tourist and local history activities

The paper describes the pedagogical possibilities of using an integrative approach in teaching physical culture and life safety to future teachers based on tourist and local history activities using the experience of the Nevinnomyssk State Humanitarian Technical Institute as an example. Innovative technologies used in the integration of the indicated disciplines are presented: sports-oriented physical education, involvement of the elements of tourist training in physical development, personality-oriented physical education and intellectual development, environmental, patriotic education, historical education of students, non-traditional methods of students sanitation. Searches and the formation of the latest educational models in the modern system of higher education determined by the need to develop effective ways to build a culture of health for young professionals, to overcome the mass hypodynamia of Russian students, to preserve and strengthen the health of the young generation, to reduce the manifestations of various types of deviations, and to correct and rehabilitate youth behavior. The practice of an integrative approach to the implementation of health-saving technologies in the educational process, in particular in the physical education system of students at Nevinnomyssk State Humanitarian and Technical Institute, relying on tourism and local history activities, has contributed to the achievement of a synergistic pedagogical effect, which consists in increasing the level of health culture, improving aerobic endurance, adaptive and functional capabilities organism, psychological indicators of students in the moral and patriotic education of youth.
