Resilience in individuals: intellectual characteristics as predictors

Introduction. Resilience, defined as the capacity to maintain stability in the face of life challenges, inherently encompasses cognitive and intellectual components. Despite its significance, the role of intellectual characteristics as predictors of resilience remains underexplored. This study aims to provide both theoretical and empirical evidencefor the predictive power of intellectual characteristics in relation to human resilience.
