The interpretation of English mythology in the novels about Garry Potter by J.K Rowling

In the article we made an attempt to analyze the interpretation of the plots and characters of English mythology in the novels by J.K. Rowling about Harry Potter. The general features typical for English folklore and mythological tradition and for the cycle of novels of the writer are noted, the distinctive moments are revealed, their importance and influence on the idea of the work is revealed. The author of the article analyzes the features of the image of traditional mythological plots and their influence on the plot of the work as a whole.
