Interpretation of a literary text in painting as a modern reader - school student's development tool (studying I. A. Krylov's fables in the 5th form)

A modern school student lives in the complex world and therefore of urgent importance is interaction of various images: visual and verbal. It is especially important at literature lessons at perception of a literary text. The purpose of our work - to develop a technique of formation of ideas of artistic originality of a fable, using artistic interpretations of a literary text as a reader - school student's development tool. We consider that perceptions of images of a text of fiction would be more effective if, first, they were correlated to images of painting, and secondly, if work on pupils' own interpretations was intensified, as motivation for school students' awareness of their creative opportunities. Conclusion: Interrelation of arts at literature lessons helps students to more brightly present an artistic image, to understand specifics of literature, to develop a sense of beauty, to realize moral, esthetic and emotional influence of a literary work.
