Investment attractiveness of subjects of the Russian Federation: redistribution of the potential

The article discusses differentiation of Russian regions in their investment activity, analyses the factors led to this differentiation. It reveals the range of Ulyanovsk region on the investment attractiveness among Russian regions. As a result, according to the Federal statistics service of the Russian Federation and the rating Agency "Expert RA" the author concludes that it is necessary to have an effective, clear, well thought-out policy aimed to improve and sustainably increase the competitiveness investment of the region.
