Engineering in training students at a technical university

The teaching of engineering as methodology and teaching of engineering activity is the main task of higher technical school. The main effect in forming engineering thinking is achieved beginning from junior courses and by using engineering in combination with engineering activity of a student. Preliminary results of teaching the new integrative course, Introduction to the Engineering Activity in K S T U, are given. Active methods of teaching, person-oriented approach are used throughout the course. The role of engineering achmeology in forming of the future engineer world-outlook is emphasized
