Art in the modern school: general and specific in the history of education

Бесплатный доступ

The article reveals the features of modern art teaching at school from the standpoint of an integrat ed poly artistic approach based on the results of longterm pedagogical research by the staff of the Scientific Research Institute of Art Education, conducted under the leadership of B.P. Yusov and his follower L. G. Savenkova. The appeal to this direction today is justified by the fact that over the past thirty years there have been radical changes in the life of Russia, which require a revision of the practice of introducing children and youth to art. This implies a different organization of the educational process as a whole, since universal integration, encompassing science, technology, industry and creativity, cannot but affect the educational system, and today serious responsibility falls on subjects of the humanities and art cycle.
