Use of the method of case study at the lessons of foreign language in university

The article deals with the basic characteristics of the method “case study” as one of the innovative ways of the organization of foreign language teaching in university. There are given some methodological recommendations directed to including case study in teaching process and the example of the use of the method as a model that can be adapted to the specific learning situations.
