Neural networks as a tool for developing professional skills of design students

The article briefly describes the capabilities and characteristics of available neural networks for designers, compares the results of image generation based on given prompts. It was found that modern digital tools such as neural networks can be used in the professional training of design students as a source of ideas for forming their own creative concepts. In addition, some of the studied services can be used in project activities as a tool for solving routine tasks, such as replacing the background, separating an object from the background, processing photos, applying various filters, etc. The scientific novelty of the study lies in the proposed method of pre-project research in graphic design: using various services based on artificial intelligence (AI). An algorithm for using neural networks in the educational process of training design students has been created.
