The paper describes the peculiarities of using non-verbal communication in teaching English for students in economics. The relevance of the work is explained by the fact that in current pedagogical practice the use of non-verbal communication methods and means in the training of students of non-linguistic universities is not fully studied. The object of this work is the English language teaching of different formats in non-linguistic universities. The subject of the research is non-verbal communication in teaching English to for students in economics in an e-learning environment. Scientific novelty lies in identifying the potential of various non-verbal tools that can be used in the process of creating e-learning materials for teaching English to economics students. It is concluded that the inclusion of a variety of non-verbal means of communication in the learning process of students contributes to a more successful acquisition of language, as well as their use in situations of labor activity - professional selfrealization of future specialists.
