The use of the advertising texts in the system of the culture-congruent approaches to teaching the Russian language as a foreign language

The article deals with the analysis of the linguo-didactic potential of the authentic advertising texts used in teaching the Russian language as a foreign language. The study is based on the verbal and polycode advertising texts revealed by the continuous sampling method (250 units). The advertising texts functioning in the Russian linguocultural environment during their actualization at the classes of the Russian language as a foreign language allow to give the students a wide and realistic picture of life in Russia, its history and cultures.
