Using the digital resources as part of teaching the “Foreign language” discipline in a non-linguistic university

The author considers the definition of digital educational resource, theoretical fundamentals of digital technologies' usage in foreign language teaching, especially, in case of non-linguistic university students. The author has determined the up-to date teacher's tasks and described some examples of digital resources implementation during different stages of teaching, such as practicing of vocabulary and grammar structures, working with text and text-based monologue speech. It is especially important for preparing the first and second year students to the credit and speaking part of the exam during classes and in the process of self-preparation. It was found out that the usage of multimedia means of teaching allows students to improve involvement and motivation for learning English language, which will positively influence the results of final assessment.
