The use of Moodle in teaching English bachelors of natural-faculties of PSU

The article presents the features of the use of the electronic system MOODLE in teaching English to students of natural science students of PSU and analyzes the basic principles, structure and advantages of this type of work. Also the use of MOODLE in the classroom and independent work of students is shown. The author explains what the requirements are for programs used in teaching at the university. The article notes the principles underlying the MOODLE system. The researcher also argues that the possibility of providing feedback to participants in the educational process is one of the main advantages of the MOODLE system and that the MOODLE system allows to use training testing and carry out preliminary testing and laboratory work. The article notes that this system is based on a collaborative learning technology that allows to organize training in the process of solving educational problems together and to implement the interchange of knowledge. The attention is also drawn to the fact that to the fact that the use of this resource is systemic and well organized. The article describes the key points in the development of electronic manuals based on MOODLE. The author shows that the purpose of this development is to create an information and education system, which is able to contribute to the improvement of the educational process. The author also writes about the content of the electronic manual. The article points out the elements that are useful and convenient when using MOODLE, provides information about the texts included in the manual, explains which materials are required to study, and which are optional. These materials can be effectively used in work with first-year bachelors.
