Research of cyberbullying in the student environment

The article analyzes the problem of cyberbullying among students, and also provides the results of a survey conducted in the form of a questionnaire on the state of cyberbullying among 125 students from 4 Russian universities, the purpose of which was to establish the causes, forms and consequences of cyberbullying. The analysis of the results of the study revealed a fairly wide prevalence of cyberbullying among students - 90.4% have faced the manifestation of Internet bullying at least once, 34.4% have been subjected to cyberbullying, 3.2% are constantly subjected to cyber bullying, 10.4% were cyberbullers themselves. Students consider the most effective of the methods of preventing cyberbullying to be the imposition of punishment in the form of a certain responsibility fixed at the legislative level, as well as pedagogical prevention in the form of conversations, events demonstrating the negative consequences that have occurred as a result of cyberbullying in order to prevent this negative phenomenon in the student environment.
