Study of the main methods of assessing business risks

In a volatile and uncertain environment, the activities of any enterprise are exposed to a huge number of risks. The unstable state of financial markets, incomplete research in this area, ignorance and irrational use of methods for assessing business risks expand the areas of risk situations, which causes the relevance of this work. The paper highlights the main methods of assessing business risks, which are divided into qualitative and quantitative risk assessment, where the main goal for qualitative analysis is to determine the factors and types of risks. Quantitative risk analysis numerically determines the size of individual risks and the risk of the enterprise as a whole. Also, the advantages and disadvantages of these methods are given.
