Study of the Acute Toxicity of “Hepaphytan”.

Over the course of evolution, the human body has adapted to the assimilation of plants whose active compounds are readily integrated into metabolic and adaptive processes. When used appropriately, herbal medicinal products produce a pronounced therapeutic effect in patients without the risk of complications. Of particular interest are complex products composed of several plant species that exhibit a unified pharmacological effect through different mechanisms of action. However, improper use of herbal products may cause adverse reactions in patients. The newly developed complex herbal product in the form of a dry extract (“Hepaphytan”) has been characterized as a nontoxic product.
