The article reveals the relevance of studying the emotional exhaustion syndrome and finding methods for its prevention in the field of modern education. The authors consider the phenomenon of emotional burnout, its psycho-emotional and behavioral components. A brief analysis of the theoretical research of the burnout syndrome, its phases and symptoms, as well as external and internal factors of personality deformation are given. The results of an experimental study of the level of emotional burnout in teachers with different work experience are presented.
